£1m EuroMillions Win For Mother and Daughter

For a mother and daughter, the EuroMillions has brought, not only a dream of winning millions, but £1million to be exact, after the pair won this fantastic amount playing Europe’s favourite euro lotto game.

Brenda and Julie Page, EuroMilllions lottery win

Brenda and Julie Page from Radlett in Hertfordshire, England are celebrating a their £1m EuroMillions win at the moment. Like most lottery players who purchase lottery tickets from the store, these lucky ladies also only double checked their winning EuroMillions lottery numbers quite some time after the draw took place. Mum Brenda said that she buys EuroMillions tickets four weeks in advance and only checks them when it’s time to buy the next batch.

The lucky pair won on the Millionaire Raffle code that took place in the July 8 EuroMillions draw. Brenda said that she read about a yet to be claimed £1m EuroMillions ticket which was bought locally. It was only then that she decided not to check her EuroMillions tickets as usual, but to rather double check the tickets earlier just in case one of their tickets was the lucky one.

When she realised that the unthinkable had actually happened and they were sitting on a euro lotto ticket worth a bomb, she immediately called Julie who was at her temporary job and told her the unbelievable news.
Joking around

Julie first thought that her mum had “gone a bit loopy” but it didn’t take her long to work out that her mum was in fact quite serious, and not playing their usual joke on each other that they had won the lottery.

When Julie arrived home couldn’t help feeling mischievous, and told her fiancée that she had good news and bad news. The bad news was that she’d received a parking ticket. The good news was he was “about to marry into a millionaire family.”   Not realising what she had just said, he asked her about the parking ticket, then slowly said what? “Repeat what you just said about being a millionaire?”
